Many folks have asked us about the renovations we did to our building to create the Pines Dinner Theatre. We wanted to share with you how we got there.
When we first saw the building, it was a former restaurant.
Working with an architect and design team, we sat down to renovate this former restaurant into the Pines Dinner Theatre. Big changes included constructing a stage along with dressing room and staff areas, adding an upper seating level in the dining area, as well as completely remodeling the former bar area into our lobby.
The original lounge area. The wooden floor was originally a bar.
Another view of the lobby under construction.
Once the partitions and half walls were removed from the dining area, construction could begin on the stage.
Framing of the new upper dining level.
The biggest project by far was moving the the dishwashing room to create more floor space for the dining area. This is a veiw of the original dishwashing room being removed.
It was a great day when the new signs arrived for the building!
Of course we couldn't have made this happen without the support and help of our family, friends, and our fabulous staff. Here's our project foreman hard at work.

The finished product. Here's a view of the stage from our recent production of Ring of Fire: The music of Johnny Cash.
After many months of hard work, the Pines Dinner Theatre officially opened on January 29, 2010 with a sold out performance of I Do! I Do! If you've already joined us, thank you for being our guests.
